We’re pleased to introduce the WP Travel Engine v5.8.5. This new version brings essential updates, including new features and bug fixes, to keep your website running smoothly and efficiently.

Let’s take a look at what’s new in WP Travel Engine v5.8.5.

New Features

1. Improved Filter Visibility

We’ve added a “Toggle Criteria Filter Display” for the trip archive page. This allows you to control the visibility of filter categories. You can now choose to show all filters or keep them hidden by default.

2. Improved Coupon Code Display

Our latest update addresses the incorrect behavior of the Coupon Code field. Based on its date range and restrictions, it will now only appear when a valid coupon is available for the chosen trip.

Bug Fixes

  • Date Format Fixed: Trip end dates are now displayed correctly in customer booking details on the My Account page.
  • Booking Form Styling: The sticky Booking Form no longer overlaps with other sidebar widgets.
  • More Extra Services Options: We’ve resolved an issue where only 10 extra services were shown for the customers in the booking modal while booking any trip, regardless of the actual number available. Now, customers can see all available service options.
  • Encoded Slug Fix: We’ve corrected the issue related to the encoded slug by ensuring the correct use of the ‘printf’ function.

Conclusion

We’re always looking for ways to improve WP Travel Engine and make it the best solution for your online travel and tour business.
