It started with a website in 2012
In 2012, Raushan, co-founder of WP Travel Engine, built his second website, a travel project.
That project introduced him to tour operators, travel agencies, adventure guides, and local experts who pour their lives into creating experiences for others.
But he noticed a problem.
Most travel businesses were relying on tools that were never built for them.
Creating itineraries, managing bookings, and showcasing trips online was harder than it should have been.
That solution became WP Travel Engine.

We launched WP Travel Engine as a free WordPress plugin. Our goal was simple: give tour operators an easy way to build travel booking websites and start selling online.
First Premium Add-ons Ship
As operators started using it, we listened. We built our first premium add-ons based on what real users actually needed.
10,000 Active Users
Travel came to a standstill, but we kept building. During one of the industry’s toughest periods, 10,000 tour operators were now running their businesses on WP Travel Engine. It gave us the strength to keep going.
