Can you tell us about yourself and your travel business?
My name is Muhammet Barlas, and I am the Operations Manager at Moonstar Tour. Based in Pamukkale, our company has served international tourists for over 15 years.
We help them explore Turkey with activities and transfers across the country, including destinations like Pamukkale, Cappadocia, Ephesus, and Aphrodisias. We specialize in offering a wide range of activities, including hot air balloon rides, paragliding, and more.
When and how did you start your travel business?
Moonstar has been in operation since 2008.
What has been the biggest challenge you have overcome in your business?
The exchange rate differences between our advertising budget and other countries.
What advice would you like to give fellow travel business owners about running a successful travel agency?
You should build a strong team, work with good agencies, and refer clients to each other.
What must-have features in a travel website would you suggest to fellow travel business owners?
I believe WP Travel Engine is essential for a travel website because it offers many advantages, from managing reservations to creating tours.
