We heard your feedback about capacity management being confusing, leading to overbookings sometimes. That ends today.
We’ve now made seat allocation simple. You set one total seat limit for a tour, and all other rules (like categories, dates, and timeslots) automatically adjust to it. This way, availability is always accurate, and you never sell more seats than you have.
What’s Changed
1. General Settings
Before:
You had Maximum Participants and Minimum Participants, which were optional. These set broad limits but didn’t always connect well with other settings.

Now:
The old Maximum and Minimum Participants settings have been replaced with two new options:
Minimum Travellers Per Booking – This sets the smallest group size per booking. For example, if you set it to 3, customers have to book at least three seats to proceed to checkout.
Total Travellers Seat – This is your overall trip limit. Once this number is reached, bookings close automatically.

Note: These two settings are now the global rules. Other limits in categories and dates always follow them.
2. Pricing Categories
Before:
Each category (like Adult or Child) had both minimum and maximum numbers. This often led to conflicts with the overall trip limit.

Now:
The old Minimum and Maximum per category settings have been replaced with a single option- Minimum Pax per category. This sets the smallest required number for a category.
For example, you can require at least one Adult in every booking. The maximum option has been removed to avoid unwanted clashes with the global maximum.

3. Dates & Timeslots
Previously, seat limits set for dates or timeslots didn’t always work well with the overall trip capacity. This sometimes led to mismatched availability or the risk of overbooking.
Now, the logic has been improved:
- Dates: You can still set Total Seats for each date. This number controls how many travellers can book on that date.
- Timeslots: All timeslots under a date now follow that date’s Total Seats.
Note: If no limit is set or if it exceeds the total trip total, the total trip limit will be applied automatically.
