Eligibility
- Anyone with an active online presence (e.g., website, blog, YouTube, or social media channel) can apply to become an affiliate.
- All applications are subject to approval. We reserve the right to accept or reject applications based on our internal review.
- Affiliates must provide accurate and up-to-date information during signup.
Valid Referrals
A referral is considered valid when:
- The referred customer completes a purchase through a valid affiliate tracking link.
- The customer is new and has not interacted with WP Travel Engine (e.g., prior inquiry, trial, or purchase).
- The purchase occurs within the 60-day cookie duration from the initial affiliate click.
- The customer accepts cookie consent and does not use browser settings that block affiliate tracking.
If any of these conditions are not met, the referral may not be recorded and no commission will be generated.
Cookie Tracking Policy (60 Days)
Our affiliate program uses cookies with a 60-day duration.
- If a visitor makes a purchase within 60 days of clicking your affiliate link, you will receive credit for that referral.
- Only the last valid affiliate link before purchase is credited (last-click attribution).
- Referrals may not be recorded if the user:
- Does not accept cookie consent.
- Uses a browser or extension that blocks cookies or tracking scripts.
- Makes the purchase using private/incognito mode.
Referral to Clients and Personal Contacts
We understand that affiliates may refer their own clients – this is acceptable if done as part of your genuine service or recommendation.
However, if the sole purpose of signing up for the affiliate program is to refer an existing client and claim a commission, this is considered an abuse of the program.
In such cases, the affiliate must generate a minimum of three (3) additional verified referrals through genuine marketing activity before any commission is approved.

Invalid or Disqualified Referrals
The following referrals are not eligible for commission:
- Self-referrals – purchases made using your own affiliate link.
- Family, friends, or employees directly associated with you.
- Pre-existing customers who had prior communication, demo, or purchase history.
- Immediate signups – referrals made within 48 hours of joining the affiliate program.
- Untracked or manipulated visits resulting from technical blocking or false reporting.
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity as determined by our automated or manual review.
Commission Approval and Payouts
- Commissions are approved 30 days after the purchase date, once the refund period has passed and the sale is verified as valid.
- Payouts are made in the first week of each month for eligible commissions older than 30 days.
- The minimum payout threshold is $100. Commissions below this amount will carry forward to the next payment cycle.
- Payments are made via PayPal.
Fairness and Manual Review
Our system automatically flags referrals that show unusual or suspicious patterns – such as a new affiliate generating a sale immediately after signup. These are reviewed manually to maintain the integrity of the program.
We reserve the right to decline commissions that do not meet the requirements outlined in this policy or appear inconsistent with genuine promotional activity.
Affiliate Conduct
Affiliates are expected to promote WP Travel Engine ethically and transparently. The following activities are prohibited:
- Misleading, false, or exaggerated advertising claims.
- Spamming or sending unsolicited emails.
- Using brand bidding or trademarked keywords in paid ads.
- Creating coupon or discount pages that misrepresent offers.
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination from the program.
Termination and Policy Updates
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any affiliate account if it violates this policy or attempts to exploit the program.
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect improvements or compliance changes. Affiliates will be notified of significant updates.
